HYDROCYCLONE

Hydrocyclone is a device that classifies materials according to grain size and uses centrifugal force to increase the precipitation rate of particles. It is one of the most important devices in the mineral industry and widely used in closed circuit grinding operations. It is also preferred in many other applications such as degritting, desliming, and thickening.

WORKING PRINCIPLE

When slurry enters the hydrocyclone under pressure as a result of centrifugal force, materials larger than cut-off point size enter toward mainstream vortex adjacent to the wall and proceed toward discharge with a small volume of water. Thinner particles than cut-off point size travel in an upward swirl along the axis of the hydrocyclone.

PARTS

As the Salt Refining Line, we produce all parts of the hydrocyclone with smooth, abrasion-resistant materials for not reducing the speed.

Feed Pipe

The pipe which allows the slurry to enter the hydrocyclone. Since there are no moving parts in hydrocyclones, all parts must be manufactured in such a way that they can not cut the speed.

Bulky Material Outlet Pipe

The diameter is the smallest part. It can be abrasion resistant, fixed or replaceable.

Thin Material Outlet Pipe

Smooth, abrasion-resistant and cylindrical shape enhances the efficiency of the application.
