IODIZING MACHINE

Salt provides the iodine what is important for the human body. Iodizing machine is used for mixing salt and iodine with the dosing method. The iodizing machine is designed to can be iodizing according to standards of Unicef and other health facilities.

PROCESS

Iodizing process is the following:

Feeding

Salt is loaded into the feeding hopper, and the mixing unit is fed through a controlled rotary feeder. The feeding and loading must continuously be made. Thus conveyors are changed according to continuous feeding.

Spraying

When salt is falling, potassium iodide or iodate solution is sprayed to a mixing unit from the spray nozzle. At this point, the amount of the potassium iodide or iodate solution must be adjusted carefully. Because the rate on the salt-iodine mixture is important. The iodizing machine adjusts an amount of spraying according to required salt-iodine rate.

Discharging

Salt-iodine mixture is discharged from the mixing unit and sent storage area by various conveying vehicles.

FEATURES

It can produce max 50 ton iodized salt per hour.
All the surfaces that contact with mixture are made from chromium-nickel stainless steel.
Other surfaces are made of carbon steel.
It works with an electric motor.
Thanks to the control panel, the machine can be controlled at any time.
It consists of mixing and spraying unit, iodine solution section, salt barrel, and salt feed nozzle.
