SCREW WASHER

Screw washers are used for eliminating chemical impurities in salt and increasing salt quality. Clean salt is precipitated in salt slurry and clean material rate escaping with dirty water decreases. Screw washers can be manufactured with the single or double helix. It is the most preferred machine for washing of material that between 0-10 mm.
This machine can be used for washing materials such as salt, sand, food material, mine and recycle material. We design washing cyclones that provide quick water entry and exit, easy maintenance and high-capacity washing.

WORKING PRINCIPLE

Sedimentation pond is fed from the sedimentation pond with salt. Screw is submerged in this pond and driven by continuously rotating reducer motor. Salt is moved by the screw and removed from impurities. The impurities move to the water surface and leave the system. Since clean salt has more density than impurities, it subsides to bottom and advanced through screw.

Solution preparation

Brine solution with the specified density is prepared and transferred to the water tank.

Feeding

Salt is transmitted to wash from the feed chamber to sedimentation pond.

Washing

Salt is washed with brine solution. Impurities come up water surface, and they are discharged from flume. Solid and clean salt is precipitated.

Discharging

Thanks to the screw, clean salt slurry is directed toward the exit and given discharging chamber.
